Dr. Tong’s “Walk with the Doc” event inspired camaraderie among Dr. Tong, patients, and even a dog or two, as they took a brisk stroll around De Portola Park on April 26th. The health benefits from outings like this are great, as walking has been shown to lower the risk of chronic diseases, improve circulation, bone health and sleep, and boost brain functions such as learning and memory.
